Generally I can get one picture loaded make minor adjustments, and print the picture in 2 hours. Many times while waiting for a command to respond, the Not Responding message will appear, then disappear when the command finally becomes active. The selection areas always go white following a selection, but the selected function may not happen. This includes page setup, printer setup, zoom, etc. Once I select the file it will load, then sometimes disappears (CS2 comes to front and image goes to rear).Īny action I want to perform requires one or more clicks to select, then a minimum of 15 seconds for the action to occur. I then have normal operation while browsing for the file I want to load. ∟ile becomes inactive after the 2nd click and stays inactive for about 15 seconds. I have to repeat this 3 times to get the file menu. The Not Responding annotation will then disappear from the CS2 screen but will remain on the taskbar. Not Responding is now appended to the program title on the screen and the taskbar. All parts of the screen containing selectable icons/menus will go white for a couple of seconds, then will return to the normal CS2 display. When CS2 is loaded, I click on File menu to load a picture. I have performed all the actions to optimize performance of Photoshop (CS2 on Windows) Tech Doc 332271 and have had no improvement.
